Invisalign continues to grow in popularity with our Monroe Township patients due to its versatility and discreet appearance. Unlike traditional metal braces, which are placed permanently on teeth until the complete set of braces is ready to be removed, Invisalign treatment is achieved through individual trays that are both removable and clear.
Invisalign is typically a better option for older teenagers as well as adults of all ages who have access to more flexible orthodontic budgets. Invisalign treatments are not currently offered for children or younger teenagers.
As their name implies, Invisalign trays are virtually invisible to the eye, meaning wearers can achieve a straighter smile through a more visually subtle transition. Although Invisalign trays typically need to be worn for at least 22 of every 24 hours, they can be removed when you need to eat or brush your teeth.
